Product Spotlight #1 – SnugLid TC

Welcome to our first Product Spotlight!

Today we will be covering the SnugLid TC model tonneau (pronounced taw-no) cover made by SnugTop.

First off, if you happen to be unfamiliar with what a tonneau cover is, it is a flat truck lid made of fiberglass, as shown in the picture below.

SnugLid TC

The SnugLid TC model is a staple of the tonneau covers we offer here at Fuller Truck Accessories. With its relatively simple hinge and lock designs, this lid is ready for some hard work. Although simple, the sturdy, weather-resistant sealed design will keep your stuff in, and the elements and intruders out.

The tonneau cover is secured to the truck using a “snugrip” rail system that is manufactured to the measurements of your truck’s bed. This system is the foundation for the hinges, gas props, and locks. The front stainless-steel hinge system provides an adjustable but secure base for your tonneau cover to pivot on. The design allows for a tight fit when closed and sturdy positioning when opened. Your lid is supported by heavy duty gas props which provide an upward force for easy lift operation, as well as hold the cover in the open position. The TC features a dual-lock design. In each rear corner of the lid, there is a rotating lock core with a lock tab attached to it. In the closed position, the turn of your key will slide the lock tabs under the strike plates, which are mounted to the snugrip rail system. When in the closed position, the built-in rubber seals conform themselves to the truck rails, keeping your cargo safe from the weather.
